What Are The Reasons for Having A Breast Augmentation?

There are many reasons as to why people decided to have breast augmentation and it goes without saying that a lot of thought goes behind each decision for the individuals own personal reasons. Some people have procedures such as breast enlargements because they have been born with naturally small breast and they feel self-conscious. Other times women have experienced trauma to the breast area or have had to undergo a procedure called a mastectomy where the natural breast is removed from the body. This can be a very traumatic experience for a woman and breast augmentation might be the only thing that returns a state of normalcy back to her life.

Women born with natural small breast may want a breast enlargement after years of being made fun of as a small-breasted adolescent. This type of harassment from other children and teens can give the small-breasted woman a serious complex and can cause them tremendous anxiety. On the other hand, a small-breasted woman may have never had a traumatic social experience growing up in regards to her breast size and genuinely wants to have a breast augmentation just to boost her own self-esteem for herself. Either way both reasons are perfectly fine to have breast augmentation.

Another reason a woman may have a breast augmentation is because she has either experienced breast trauma or has had to have a mastectomy. Trauma to the breast could be so severe that a total reconstruction of the breast area could be necessary. After a woman has her breast removed, she will go through a recovery time and then have a breast augmentation in the form of reconstructive surgery to restore her breast area and to give her a more natural appearance.

For whatever reason a woman decides to have a breast augmentation there is no right or wrong reason as to why. This is because everyone does it for different reasons and in the end; it is done to make the patients happier with themselves. Another procedure a cosmetic surgeon can provide is nipple
